Mountaineering Abroad
#1 Mr. Subhash Kanto Roy represented the Institute in the International Youth Mountaineering Meet held at Sophia, Bulgaria in 1974.
#2 Mr. Arindam Debnath went on invitation to Norway and Sweden for Rock Climbing, Glacier Passing, trekking, Canoeing and Rafting during June- July 1986.
#3 Mr. Asit Kumar Roy invited by Bistari Alpine Club of Japan to take part in the expedition to mount Oyama (30115m), Otsenso (2980m), Turugi (2997m),Yari (3116m) and Fuji (3377m) in Japan during July- August 1987 and he climbed all the five peaks.

Liaison officer on behalf of Govt. Of India.
