Matha to Ajodhya Pahar trek
At Howrah Station
The IOE organised Jungle trek from Matha(Purulia) to Ajodhya Pahar during Holi. A team of 39 member participated the trekking program. All members of 39 reached Matha in two group. The First group reached Matha one day prior to other group.
Second group reached Matha on Holi day.
After finishing our breakfast we went to rock side to do some bouldering practice.
Trek started next day from Matha early in the morning and team reached their first day destination Kudana in the evening. We stayed their in a school.
Next day we started our trek for Ajodhya Pahar weather was not pleasant at this time of the year. Temperature was about 42 to 45 degree.
We reached Ajodhya in afternoon. We had our lunch at a local Ashram where a yagna was going on their priest invited us to have lunch/Prasad at the Ashram and we happily accept his proposal as this also relieved us for making our lunch and who want to leave an opportunity to have prasad?
After finishing our lunch we hired two car and reached Purulia station and boarded Chakradharpur fast passanger for Howrah.....
