A Rock Climbing practice organised by IOE from 22nd March 2016 at Matha(Purulia Dist), all members will leave Kolkata on 22nd March 2016 by Kriyajog Express train from Howrah.

Matha To Ajodhya Pahar

The Institute of Exploration organised a Jungle Trek from Matha (Purulia Dist) To Ajodhya Pahar from 23rd March 2016. The team will be moving from Howrah Station on 23rd March 2016 by Chakradharpur Fast Passanger and trekk will start from 24th March 2016 from Matha.

Foundation Day

The Institute has celebrated its 46th foundation day at Metropolitan School premises today. Members of the Institute attended and participated in various activities like singing and cake cutting.....

47th Rock Climbing Course

Reporting time at Howrah Station

The Institute of Exploration organised its 47th Rock Climbing course at Susunia Hills in Bankura District of West Bengal from 1st February to 4th February 2016 .

There were more than 150 trainees and officials in the course. Course organised was Basic Rock Climbing, Standard Rock Climbing (For those who got A grade in their Basic Course) and Method of Instruction course.

There were 8 ropes of Basic course and 2 ropes of Standard course and one rope of MOI.
